my FF7 disk is messed up so i was wondering if anyone could just get me past the part where bogenhagen puts down his staff thing, it freezes whenever i get there. so, could someone get past that part, save on the world map, then send me the save file please?

hey, i know this topic isnt about me, but if it isnt too much trouble, could someone make a gamefile that hasnt had cheats used, and it saved just after the scene at the gold saucer when barret is telling you about how his village was burned down and someone else had a gun in one of his arms, every time i watch this scene it crashes can anyone help me (im not fussy about what the characters statuses are, i just wanna keep playing)

damnit, then we are stuck there, when i wanted to get a new saved game i went on various websites and replaced my old save game files for new ones, unfortunately those saved games i used to overwrite my old ones were hacked and has like 999999 gils and were all level 99, basically, i dont have the saved game :-(

actually, if u wait a day or so, i would gladly work my way back t that save point, its just more gameplay

hi to all my name is andrea and I am as you I love the serious ff (what hook more is 7) I wanted to ask I help you because I have a big problem with ff 7 for pc, because of errors on pc I have had to format but before doing this I have backup the save file of ff7 now that I have reinstall ff7 I have put in the briefcase "save" the rescue that I had but when I start the game and I make position it tells me that it is not caricabile and therefore I cannot continue.... I am able alone riniziare the game.... in internet I have found some save files but they were or too before or too much ahead from my position.... and therefore don't be all right I wanted to know if it were possible somehow to mend the file... I don't intend etc of lifesaving file of it of edit. I in advance thank all those that will give me an answer or that they will help me.

I post you my save file. the problem is that, when I try to load it comes out me to it: game saved not valid. I post it, harriw if you succeed in systematizing me I would be it of it very thankful if you don't succeed there instead, you would post me a save file to the beginning of the cd2?

I think you'll just need to start again, couldnt do anything about that save file, if you get the save file i uploaded here for Strike, its near the start of the second disc.

Yeah, and I've actually taken the time to build up some EXP and master a few Materia on that save game as well

Though I haven't been real careful to get every item in the game up to that point, and I don't think I did whatever it takes to get Vincent later in the game (I can't remember, haven't played this in like 5 years). But it's still a pretty solid save game, IMO.

I love the game, although it can take up most of your time, its worth it.

And also, to get Vincent, all you have to do is go to the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim, go the the safe and put in:

Right=36, Left=10, Right=59, Right=97

I remembered it, (yeah im cool)

You dont need to activate anything or that, just go to the safe, beat the boss, get the key to the basement, and go get him

umm, i have this pirated copy of ff7 [dont tell anyone!] on four cds... it seems pretty solid and my friend who i got it from ran it fine but when i tried running it, i installed it went to play game, it told me to insert cd, well, it was in, after trying a crap load of things, i gave up, anyone else have similar probs?

im running xp.... but i tried running it compatible to 95...

I can't seem to get past the point where Cloud and Tifa fall into the lifestream - it always crashes when trying to load up the starry night movie.

Would someone be able to play through the Weapon fight and the scenes in Cloud's mind? If so, I would really appreciate it!!!

Sorry about the double post - didn't know how to edit...

Well I was able to get another save past that point, only to realize that you need to go up the junon elevator very shortly after. This also causes a crash for me! So I guess I would need to be saved near the entrance to the underwater reactor.

Hey, im new to the forum and well, i got a problem with ff7 ^^ duh
so, i copied my save files, zipped them and put them on the net
now, i format my hd, reinstall ff7 and download the savegames again, now when i unzipped them, they have a size on disk of 24,0kb, i started a new game, saved as soon as i could, in the reactor, tried to replace files but they just don't show up, the saved file is .FF7 extension and my 24,0kb files are 'i dont know what extension they have' could anyone help me? really was keen on playing the game whole day

Hmmm, if there file extension does not show (.ff7) try renaming the file with that at the end, and then replace them into the saved games folder.

Hi, after searching for a new FF7 game for sale, I discovered this forum, and seeing some kind people helping others with their game problems, I need some help.

My ff7 disc 1 has a bad scratch, which can be seen on both sides of the disc, someone told me that their is a pinhole in it, which means its unable to work from a certain point.

I have discovered when the disc gets to the hole, but I don't know how far ahead it is, my game crashes when I try to do the chocobo race for the first time, when trying to escape the desert.

Could someone complete the race, save it, and then play on a bit and save it again, doing this a couple of times more, then I can find out how long the damaged part lasts. and then carry on the game, theres no other scratchs on disc 1 and none on 2 and 3. I don't want to buy a new copy of the game for £30 or more, for just one disc.

Maybe tomorrow, or next week, I'll put up my save game for someone to do for me.

If you do want to help me then thank you, my FF7 discs 2 and 3 are sitting in the case gathering dust.
