what to do if java script and meta wont work

If java script and meta wont work for a redirect , what do you do ? The meta redirect worked for one day then craigs list changed there html policies . I have tried embedding java script but it doesn't work . Long story short some dip shits where threatening me on CL , so I put up a post that had a redirect tag to eicar's test virus , needless to say they where not happy . My next idea is to put a post with a image so that i can track IP addresses as a server , then compare the time of the following post . I know you guys are like "leave craigs list alone" but I am not going to let these idiots win . Or maybe I should . I think maybe I can embed a script in the <img src= ?

free dvd decoder ?

Is there such a thing as a free DVD decoder ? Almost all of my computers have a re-installed O.S. so I cant play DVD's because i need a DVD decoder (except my mac and vista acer) . Ive looked around but most things that a free look a little scketchy . So if any one knows of a free/share/opensource or whatever dvd decoder please let me know . thanks

HELP WITH LINUX

I found a hp with a video card and a 80 gig hdd in the trash this morning . It has linux , and im prompted for a password . it says locaL HOST,LOCAL DOMAIN ,USERNAME and language /sessions/actions . Is there a root password ? I havent messed with linux since college , ive got a feeling ill have to put xp or vista on it .

sony mini dv

I just got the sony handycam DCR-HC62 . It comes with the AVI cable and a USB . I was so excited because i could put my movies on my PC .Well , as it turns out the usb is for the snapshots only . If you want to put the movies on your PC you have to BUY after already spending $300 a "i.link" cable that works with a fire wire port . it gets better , I only have one computer with a fire wire port and its my i-mac .but guess what ? The software is not compatible with apple ! ITS FREAKING 2008 ! and sony dosnt seem to think that people use macintosh or that every PC has a firewire port ! More than anything why didnt the "i.link"come with the camera ? why bother giving me the software ?

I am about to take my exam for HTML and ASP from w3schools . Each exam costs $60.00 . My question is do you guys think that those certificates hold any weight . I dont want to spend the money on something that a employer will laugh his ass off and tell me to haul ass . What do you guys think ?
