Windows vista wont wake from sleep

a friend of mine(no really, its not like i use vista lulz)
has as you guessed vista.
when she puts it to sleep it wont wake up.
it will shut down and go to sleep you try to wake it it starts to then stops, then you must reboot it twice as the first time yeilds a blue screen of death.

this is the error msg i got each time.

"stop:0x0000007f (0x00000008,0x82402c0,0x00000000,0x00000000)

she also has norton on it and said it started around when she put that on.
