Hi every1
If you live in the UK, and have a Sky digital connection, then you must have a sky digibox. I know the brand of the digibox varies from home to home. But when I was looking at the back of my Grundig digibox, I noticed among the input / output sockets a coventional PC type socket labelled RS232. Does anyone know what its function is ? I haven't tried plugging anything into it since I am afraid it damage my digibox / PC. But I was wondering, if it could be used for input, it would be great because i have a DVD drive on my PC, and I can then watch movies on a bigger screen without a TV tuner Card on your PC!! So any information will be helpful. Or you may want to try it yourself. Thanks for replying! DEV

Hi guys
Having some strange delay problems with IE + related programs. In IE: (Internet Explorer 6 SP1) - There is a delay when I switch from one field to another in a form (like a login form) no matter whether I use the mouse or the TAB key to go to the other field. - There is a delay when I click on a submit button on a form. By "delay" I mean that everything freezes in the IE window (toolbar buttons, menu etc.) but I can still move the mouse pointer. Example 1: I am filling out a login form. I type out user name, click on password field. The window freezes (the mouse still works). I click on the Edit menu. Nothing happens. Only after several seconds the cursor goes on password field and the Edit menu appears. Example 2: I press a submit button on a form. The window freezes (the mouse still works). Then I click on MS Word on the taskbar. MS Word window appears. Then I try to go back to IE. It doesn't load. Only after several seconds it restores. Example sites: Where there is a delay: most forms, including cyberiapc.com login, hotmail.com login. Where there is NOT a delay: mail.yahoo.com [/U] Related Programs delay Programs such as Outlook Express, Address Book take a long time to open. In Windows Help, the troubleshooting wizards don't display any answers. (they show questions, i click on a dot and click continue, I get a blank frame) PLEASE HELP ME THIS IS COSTING ME HUGE AMOUNTS OF PAYASYOUGO ONLINE MONEY!! CHEERS THANKS A LOT ANY HELP APPRECIATED

Hi all
My friend is sharing an online album thru iMira.com They sent me an e-mail with the password to access his album, but when I enter it a page loads with the message "HTTP/1.1 New Application Failed" This message is not in a separate window but in a frame on the web page in big font size. I've contacted iMira.com support several times but they don't seem to be listening. Can any1 here help me? Is it a security issue or what? (i.e. will changing Internet explorer settings help? Any reponse is welcome . Thanks! EDIT: The post title should read HTTP and NOT HTML sorry! Paul: Done!
