JavaScript objects properties are different enough in every browser. If you want to see what sub-objects, functions and properties are indexed for a particular object in your browser, go to JavaScript tools and press the proprietati.js link. It will open a page with the window object. You can choose a sub-object of this or you can write any built-in object in the text input place (than press the button on the right - ignore the text in romanian, it's not important at all).
I'm sure you can find some unknown but usefull properties (navigator.vendor and so on). It doesn't work in Opera.

Commonly it's impossible to have more than one version of IE on the same OS installation. The web designers have to test their pages on many OS or computers.
Joe Maddalone found a way to use IE without installing it, so you can have in the same Windows installation IE 4, IE 5, IE 5.5, IE 6 and IE 6 SP1. There are two packages of every IE version: one for NT and other for 9x. Instructions and download: http://www.insert-title.com.
