I bought some blank DVDs ( + R) for the computer (but haven't used any yet).
Last night, I wanted to record something from the TV, so I tried to use one of these. The unit displayed "unable to read". I've just been to Tesco and noticed that some DVDs are +R and some are -R. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THERE WERE DIFFERENT TYPES ! and I don't know whether the ones I've got are going to be suitable for use on the computer. I wonder if someone could please explain the difference please, and do I need different DVDs for the TV and the computer? |

Bob
Following on from my DVD questions yesterday, I've been to Currys, and it would appear that for my Panasonic DVD recorder, I have to buy specific Panasonic DVDs ! .......TYPICAL They are RAM as opposed to RW. |
