Hi I used to be able to delete passwords and logon names from my MSN by doing the folowing,

Go to Start, Run and type "control user passwords2" and press OK. but after doing this nothing happens? And the next procedure is to,

Now switch to the Advanced tab and click on 'Manage Passwords'. You can now remove any of the entries you want

Anyone know why I can't do this now, Cheers Pete.

i think i have an idea

go to the main MSN Messenger, then go to Tools and select Options..

Go along to the tab named General and ensure the tick box is ticked under "Display alerts when an e-mail is received"

Hope this helps
