In spite of the advances with Kirby Dreamland 3 on SNES, I think I prefer Kirby Dreamland (last Kirby game written for NES) on NES. The older game seems more cartoon like with it's brightly colored backgrounds. That seems to suit Kirby more original.gif, what do you think?

eh.. their all a little cheasy.. even kirby for the n64.. kirby for the nes was good.. tho the one on game boy was ok also, that is if you like kirby..

dunno really.. im not a kirby fan.. but i disagree on wat u said "more cartoon like with it's brightly coloured backgrounds" .. mostly cuz the graphics wernt that great, mind you as the story evolved as a cartoon the graphics for the n64 were phonomenal compared to that of its star of the nes... because it was more cartoony compared to the cartoon, the graphics were the same.

but the simplicity is good. it did make the look spiffy. but to compare to later versions all you can say is that the simplistic look was good. nothing more, especially compared to its cartoon counterparts.

eh.. mario still beats kirby any day.. biggrin.gif

I made a little mistake, I meant to say "Kirby's Adventure" on NES.

http://www.nintendoland.com/home2.htm?revi...s_adventure.htm

Maybe I should have said comic book like? The graphics of Kirby 64 take the pink puffed one into 3D! Even SNES had advancements, but I still like those bright colors of NES. original.gif

I respect Mario (a.k.a Jumpman), but having played Donkey Kong in the arcade when it first came out I think I have seen too much of him. wink.gif
