Sounds like you may need to install something from your motherboard disc, or something like that.

But that happens to my computer when i dont have the drivers installed for my sound, just get your motherboard disc and put that in and see if you can find anything on that to relate to sound thumbsup.gif

Hope this helps, if not then im pretty stupid and someone else will most probably help whistling.gif

lol do you have any discs still that came with your computer? If you do then it will be on one of them, it would have something like 'Motherboard Utilities Disc' on it.

If you dont, then im sure you can get the drivers off the net, just find out what kind of motherboard you have (which you might not know crazy.gif ) and post it.

Also what operating system are you running? Windows? wtf.jpg

Yeah Windows XP.

Ok well basically download this that i have attaced, and unzip it to anywhere(hopefully you know hope to unzip pinch.gif ) and there will be a file called Aida32 with a icon of a computer for it.
Just open that and click on 'motherboard' then 'motherboard' again, then you will see what kind you have:

I have a Gigabyte.

Just post what you have thumbsup.gif
