Hi everyone!
There's a strange noise occuring while my computer runs and I have a very vague ideea about that thing. I suspect it's the CPU fan. It works rather odd as I could see: 5113 RPM, 5273 RPM, 5443 RPM, and sometimes it goes under 5000 RPM . This noise seems very weird to me because I never met this problem before although I've worked for a lomg time on this computer. I would be very grateful for any advice. Thank you in advance, Clement |

It sounds like the bearing could be going bad
I would definately recommend changing it, they are cheap to buy. if it proves not to be the fan, it will have only cost you a few £'s or $'s. This post has been edited by bobhome: Aug 12 2003, 06:51 AM -------------------- REGARDS
