sad.gif Hi

My friend is having a problem with a newish computer, she turns it on and the power light on the tower appears, the monitor show's "monitor is working, self test" that's all it does, it is switched on and off a few times and eventually kicks into gear..

Any ideas

Many thanks

It sounds like a PSU (power supply) problem or bad hard disk.

As it's new, I would take the PC back to the shop and ask for a replacement if it’s still under warranty.
