The DEC PDP-8 was an extremely popular, transistor based, second generation minicomputer released in 1965 priced at a mere $18,500. This first release of the creatively named 'Simplified PDP-8 Simulator' is intended to simulate the PDP-8 by reading in machine code and then processing it.
An introduction to the PDP-8 will be added here at a later date. Sample files containing simple programs written in machine code are including in the .zip file. Notes: 1. You will also need to install the .NET framework, if you don't already have it installed, before running the application. Download dotnetfx.exe (20.8MB) 2.
