Addedscanning has become the bane of my existence!, scanning and editing (Mostly filling in) Options

OS=ME upgrade over WINDOWS 98SE (no unusual problems)
Scanner=new VANTAS 3000 (Microtec)-before editing programs added, no problems noted.
Trial program of Readiris added-not used-recently ran out.
(Problems may have started coinciding with trial end}
Bought Presto Forms program, but get same results in all imaging progs. now.  
Scan screen is pulled up, an image is produced during
the 'preview mode, but it disappears after a few moments ,
and no image displays during the 'scan' mode.  The scanner is activated even though there is no display during that mode.
I needed these very important (to me) documents last week!
Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this very frustrating problem.

Hi there,

It seems like you've got a problem with your TWAIN software since you face the same problem in all programs.  I would recommend you download the latest drivers from Microtec's website for your Vantas 3000 that is compatible with your OS.
