Hey guys. I don't know if you remember me but I used to visit here everyday back a couple years ago. Anyways...I need some help badly...I need to find a very specific string (or strings) in the registry and delete them. Here is the story (kinda broad)
I uninstalled a program. I ran CCleaner to clean out all the old stuff. Backed up and deleted the crap found using CCleaner. Ran AdobeCS3Cleaner (setting #1) However, apparently there is still some code left over because it is remembering past settings when reinstalled. If you want to get more in depth information, PM me, email me, or IM me: AIM: FlyersPh9 Y!: FlyersPh9 MSN: FlyersPh9@gmail.com ICQ: 204176389 GTalk: FlyersPh9 MySpace IM: FlyersPh9 ASTRA: FlyersPh9 I really hope you guys can help me out here. It will mean the world to me. |

Ok, you want to delete all traces of Photoshop CS 3? The first thing you want to do it open Run from the start menu and type regedit. This will open the registry editor. Next you go to Edit>find and a small find window opens. To delete all traces of photoshop search any words that might be associated with it (photoshop,CS3,Adobe) You just have to be careful when you are deleting keys/folders with the values Adobe and CS3, because if you have other Adobe or CS3 products installed just make sure you don't delete keys for them by mistake. It is pretty easy to delete stuff in the registry, just be careful when your doing it. -------------------- -Mad_cow |
