Our server uses an older version of Urchin to produce statistics, but a few days ago I thought I'd start using Google Analytics since our logs are quickly filling up our second 80GB drive. The most interesting statistic that Analytics shows is that over 80% of CyberiaPC.com's visitors are new visitors. Of course that's only based on the data it's received from the past few days, but it's interesting nonetheless. Now we have to figure out how to retain visitors so that they don't visit once, grab whatever it is that they were looking for and then run off with their sandals under their arms!
Actually Google Analytics is a really cool piece of software. The best part is that you no longer have to worry about maintaining and backing up logs. I had to write a review of it about a year ago for a job interview (without having access to an actual account since it took a few weeks back then to get one); I'll try to dig that up and post it here tonight.
