ZPG: Voting now open for nominated galleries! Options

This should be fun. How about we have a monthly competition for Zenith Picture Gallery users with real prizes to be won? Here's how it will work:

1. From the 1st to the 15th of a month, you can go ahead and nominate a ZPG gallery that you like. You don't have to be registered to reply to this topic and it's fine if you nominate your own gallery. Just go ahead and post the link of your choice here.

2. From the 16th, registered members of the forums can cast their vote for one of the nominated entries, based on customization, content or anything else that they like about a gallery.

3. The gallery with the most votes at 11:59 PM (GMT) on the last day of the month wins a great prize.

I've put aside the cash to have three of these competitions so far; if it goes well I wouldn't mind doing it for months to come! Let's hope this competition's slightly more successful than the last one

So let's get started...

The first competition is now under way. This month's prize is a USB Missile Launcher!

From ThinkGeek: The USB Missile Launcher is the latest desktop weapons platform that elevates your status from mere code-monkey or BOFH Sysadmin to a true Digital Dictator. I think we need a dedicated member to go out and spread the word about such competitions, kind of like Google's "evangelists".

But I still have faith...There's bound to be more than one entry in this month's compo!

A litlle suggestion (that you can accept or discard, since is mine opinion).

You would have to look for by means of Google (or some other search engine), the pages that have installed ZPG, and to invite them to participate or to name them for the prize.

Perhaps thus, they write down themselves, because she goes directed to a specific public, who is not perhaps usuary frequent of this forum.

On the other hand I have seen some galleries that use ZPG and copyright of footer has been replaced them, by other phrases, in which I believe that it is a clear and unjust violation. It also seems to me, that you would have to inspect them and to notice to them, because one is your work.

Thanks, Luis. That's a good suggestion. I'll spend tomorrow doing that then and move the deadline for nominations to the 5th of next month.

About violators, you can PM me their addresses so that I can take the necessary actions against them.

Thanks to usr.c my gallery is up and running. It is devoted to custom PSP images for backgrounds/wallpapers and custom PlayStation games on the PSP.
