Zenith Picture Gallery v0.8.5 Changelog and Download Instructions

v0.8.5 is a maintenance release that fixes a number of issues that have come to light during the past month. I don't really want to hold them off until the release of v0.8.6.

New features

- Support for GIF files added.

Bug fixes

- Category 'Other' can now be made non-downloadable.

Minor changes

- Category hierarchies are displayed in the table heads in display.php.
- Members list can be disabled.
- Each picture's title is added to the title and its description to the description meta
  tag in pic_details.php.
- Added pubDate to rss.php.
- SQL password no longer shows in admincp.php.
- A number of other tweaks and fixes throughout the script.

It is highly recommended that all users upgrade to v0.8.5.

UPGRADE FROM v0.8.4 to v0.8.5
=======================================

1. Upload the following files to your main Zenith directory:

add.php
admin_functions.php
admincp.php
comment_man.php
display.php
functions.php
head.php
image_man.php
login.php
logout.php
members.php
my.php
pic_details.php
register.php
rss.php

lang/english.php (new in english.php: description_sql_pass, show_members_list, members_list_blocked_msg)
upgrade_tools/upgrader6.php

2. Run the file upgrade_tools/upgrader6.php from the browser to update your MySQL tables.

3. Log in to your Admin CP, scroll to the bottom and click on 'Update Settings'.

You'll be logged out after the upgrade. Logging in again shouldn't be a problem. If it is, clear all the cookies for your domain name and then try again.

Congratulations, you should now be running v0.8.5!
