Just wanted to run ur (Ali's) Rapid XSLT & got an incorrect version error
 checked & found that my JRE is 1.4. Pls tell me which of these stuff is what i need to get  I tried Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 & it took me to J2SE™ Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4 . Is that it?

Yep, that's the one. The JRE is I guess similar to .NET's framework.

They are identical & C# is a copy of JAVA.
