.:Tweening:.

1. Get the image you want to have the animation on:

2. Then apply 2 text layers with what you want in them:

3. Push the button that gets you over to ImageReady:

4. Now you want to press the button in the animation window that copies the frame you have selceted: (if you dont have the animation window up, go to: Window » Animation)

5. Now on the first frame, make sure the 'eye' next to the first text layer is on in the layers pallete, and that your second text layer's 'eye' is off:

6. Go to your second frame and, this time, take the 'eye' off the first text layer and put the 'eye' on, on the second text layer.

7. With that done, still on frame 2, hit the tween button at the bottom of the animation window. And just use the default settigns but change the Frames to Add: to about 10.

8. Now you will see some more frames appear in the animation window, all you need to do now is hit the tween button again, but this time change the Tween with: to First Frame.

9.Once all the frames are there you will notice a time delay under each frame, change the very first one to what you want the delay to be., and now look 10 frames on (if you chose 10 frames to add) and change the delay on that one as well.

10. Thats it, hit the play button at the bottom of the animaiton window and you will see your animation. Just go up to File » Save Optimized as.. to save it.

Final Design:

What exactly went wrong with it?

Also making the name do a wave would be quite difficult. crazy.gif

Yes, you most definetly could do that and it would work just fine however I was attempting to keep the tutorial fairly basic.
