I've seen many other threads about this being a spyware issue and have followed them all, but my computer is still throwing this error when I start it up.
I first downloaded stinger and ran that on infected computer. After that I tried running ad-aware, which threw an error, but I did get spybot s&d to run. It found a bunch of infected files, which I told it to fix, then after that went into recovery tab and purged them all. After this I downloaded CWShredder and ran that, but it said it couldn't find anything. I then downloaded and ran hijack this, and below is the report I got back from that. I wanted to get a professional opinion on outcome of my hijack log before I went any further. All help is very greatly appreciated. oke so you're using windows xp service pack 2...it would have helped if you actually mentioned that...
By the way, seeming as this question is over 3 months old, and I feel really sorry for you that noone replied, can you tell us if you resolved it? If not, then can you give details of when this is happening and also a more detailed description of what the error returns if any more... I just noticed that you have something very unique in your startup programs: CODE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [poxaxejy] rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files\kforyxmj\erkpgdsh.dll",Init O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [twpmvyfq] regsvr32 /u "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\twpmvyfq.dll" That might be something bad. To me, at least, it looks very suspicious...hmm... Oke please provide us with some more details... -------------------- Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz
