I just bought my 10 year old an HP MINI with windows 7 on it. I have to say I am a die-hard XP man myself, but thought I would give it a go just on a netbook.

I'm telling you. I hate the fact that it only has windows 7 Starter on it. It's virtually useless if you have a home network. It wont allow sharing of files etc...

If your in the market for a netbook, make sure you don't have 7 starter on it!

Just my humble opinion.

My Rant is done now. tounge.gif

Windows 7 starter is a horrible idea,

Every other version of Windows 7 I can recommend.

The only thing I can find wrong is that my battery doesn't last as long in Windows 7 as it does with Linux or XP.
