i just installed a new hard drive into my averatec 2100 series and installed XP on it, well unfortunatley non of my drivers work like my wireless network card and video card.pinch.gif i went to averatec.com to see if they had drivers for my notebook and of course they did but they still didnt do the trick. can anyone help me? angry.gif realmad.gif realmad.gif sad.gif

Hi,
You may need to install the drivers from the manufacturers site of the wireless and video cards, I think you will probably get your answers to your problem from aveartec forums click here

Did you actually go to the following link to download the correct drivers for video and wireless? if so, they should definitely work. http://support.averatec.com/customercare/downloads.asp

You know what i think i found out the problem i havent had any money to buy a real XP disc so one of my buddies ermm.gif had installed i guess a non genuine XP cd making all my drivers not respond to my hardware... Do you think i need a genuine XP to fix this problem?

before you installed the new hard drive, was everything installed from manufacturing?

oke so I found a driver for your WLAN device (2100 SERIES / AV2150-EH1 / WLAN)
