hey....just recently bought a game.....just wondering if there is a whole lot of a difference between the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X and the GeForce Ti?
the game recommends the Ti but i just want to make sure it will run before i open the game up.....

I have owned a vast array of video cards. I know quite well that most games within the last 2 years have conflicts or performance issues with the Geforce MX series especially the 440. My advice would be to DEFINATLEY go with a TI video card. They have more performance and bang for your buck. My friend is currently running on a TI 4200 and it's doing very well in today's games comparing to my Geforce FX 5600. Though the TI 4200 isn't quite as good as the 5600 FX, it still makes its mark for it's performance. As for the AGP 8X, it doesn't really affect the overall performance because the AGP bus from 2X-8X remains at a 66mhz bus frequency. blink.gif

So unless you have an extremely high-end PC, anything you play that may look like it's a demanding game, the MX 440 is going to get fragged. rofl.gif
