I will add more when i take them or as and when anything arrives but here are a few.
I have a PS2 Xbox and Gamecube btw but i don't think they qualify just yet for retro wink.gif

Anyway, here are some pics of old games machines/toys/computers/retro items.Maybe some on here will know some of them unless i am the oldest member lol.

Just a few to start.Oh and ignore the carpet wallpaper and general decoration.I have not lived here long and we are working our way through the house getting it how we like it one room at a time.Kitchen has just been finished, this room (my pc room) sadly is a long way off being sorted lol.

Aswell as a Dreamcast or 2 i have this thing. Not exactly retro but it is good fun.It plays all the dreamcast games aswell as VCD and mp3.It also has a built in screen although you can connect it to your TV.It's called a Treamcast and comes in its own little bag...awww wink.gif

Here we have the mame cabinet. This pic was a mate of mine playing just before we dragged it upstairs after i collected it.It plays all the classics superbly (pacman defender etc etc etc etc) but i will upgrade the PC inside so it can handle some newer titles a little better.

Got quite a few more bits knocking around that i still need to get pics of plus others on route (such as the virtual boy). Some more speccy stuff, commodore Amiga, Vic 20, Jaguar CD, Collecovision, N64, Megadrive, old toys such as bigtrack, tin can alley, all the Tomytronic hand helds, other early binatone systems....ahh you get the picture, loads of old junk biggrin.gif

When i moved house i chucked loads away sad.gif

I didn't think anything of it.All first editions aswell all imported on or just after day of release.I sold the consoles to mates etc and just had tons of boxes in the loft so when we moved i chucked them all.It was only when someone told me they would of given good money for such perfect boxes that i realised what i had done.
It wasn't just consoles either but various devices for backing stuff up.
Also i chucked out hundreds of magazines from around 1980 onwards. Many first editions and some rare ones where they didn't publish more than like 3 or 4 editions of the magazine before it folded.

This collection is sort of getting back what i once had as i felt so gutted.
Many are in superb condition, many are simply the best i could find at the moment but the list will keep growing original.gif

Excellent collection Boomer! The MAME cabinet is the best of the lot. thumbs_up.gif

Have you had any problems with the Neo Geo CD? I read that the first version, which had the 1x CD reader, had issues with overheating.

Here's mine (except the Saturn, ColecoVision, and Odyssey), but with not as many older consoles: http://cyberiapc.com/vgg/

I actually have 2 of these (in fact i have doubles/trebles of a few items) and they seem fine and i had one when first released many moons ago and that also seemed ok. Must just be luck of the draw i guess.
That said though, i don't excactly hammer them like i used to so maybe problems can occur after many hours.
Anything in mint or near mint condition i don't really play with.I have 1 neo geo CD out just to mess about with really while 1 is packed away and on my relative minimal (maybe a few hours at a time) use it has been ok.

Anyway, you too seem to have a nice collection going aswell original.gif
I will be after a Sega CD and 32X at some point aswell although i will have to stop sometime i guess, i am running out of room.It seems there is always somethine else you want biggrin.gif

Grabbed a few more pics. The vectrex was indeed a funny machine but still plays decent looking games even now imoh.Way ahead of its time really!

Amiga 500...man i spent a lot of time on this thing!

Colecovision, wheel and atari vcs adapter.

Last Nintendo 64 produced afaik, still sealed (Nintendo security tabs either end)

Atari Jag CD unit sealed in bag.

Mint Vic 20.Box is pretty damn good aswell, best i have seen anyway.

Acorn Electron.Box is a bit naff but the poly inserts and machine are nice.

Now this is pretty rare! This is issue 1, unopened and unread of C&VG (computer and video games). One of the first true gaming magazines. It was purchased and put in a draw for over 20 years!!
Even tatty ones missing the free gift can go for decent money and already i have been offered money for it from a collector.
I guess the 75p (pence) cover price would of been about $1.20 or something like that. Now it's worth around £100+ pounds or $200+.
