okay lets see where should i start....okay ...well i have 2 motherboards that take amd chips....so i went and i bought 2 working amd 1.333-1.0 cpu's which were tested in front of me and i installed them on both boards which game me a blank screen even though the cpu fan was on and my cdrom would open and close but no video....so i figured after checking all of my settings and jumpers that i probably had 2 bad motherboards....so i went and took my 1.333 amd chip with me and bought an msi board which the tech tested it right in front of me and everything worked fine there at his shop.......so then i came home and just changed the cpu fan over to a better one and powered it up....same thing as the previous boards.....so i then changed the power supply and still no change...changed monitors and same thing changed memory stick and still same thing......so i figured maybe its my power cords or something so i connected a working pc with the same monitor and power plugs and it worked.....im stuck dont know what else to do .........tried everything......nothing works.......someone help...

You didn't try the most likely part, Graphics. Do u hear the normal beep sound when trurning on the pc?
A bad fan could freez or restart the PC but does not prevent booting! |

im sorry i forgot to mention that there are absolutely no beeps at all even if i remove the mem....it makes no difference.....i havent tried another video card besides the onboard one......but i figured if i got no beeps then it just would not matter....i have been reading msi message boards and i guess this problem has come up a couple of times with other people but the techs say it might possibly be a psu problem....i have switched a working pwr supply and still same problem...thanks for your advice...

okay well i finally figured out what was wrong......i took my new msi mboard back to where i bought it and the tech checked it out. well it did exactly what it had done at my house absolutely nothing.....so then he said well its either a bad board or a bad chip.....so then he messed around with it and finally he switched mem sticks(which i had already done)and after testing 2 sticks one actually worked....the board came to life and there was video just as it should be.....unbelievable....so he said that maybe the board was picky when it came to mem sticks.....after all i bought the stick from him...so he switched me mem sticks and the board is working fine now.....so for anyone having a similar problem try changing mem sticks before anything else........thanks to all who responded to my problem......i guess we all learn something new everyday huh....thanks.......
