Over the past two days, my computer has been randomly turning off. Someone told me this was due to an overheating problem, so I opened my case, and two of the fans don't seem to be working. One is the fan attatched to the processor, and the other is on the side of the case. Can anyone help me?

How old is the box? Are the power wires for the fans connected? You may simply need to buy new ones.

I actually got my two fans fixed, they just needed to be plugged into a different spot. However, my heatsink is not working. It will act like it's trying to spin, but it will just kind of bounce back. I got this computer less than a month ago, so I dunno what the problem is.

![]() What u see under the fan in the picture is a heatsink. Now tell me what is not spining. Anyway, don't turn on a computer whose CPU fan is not working. You may burn it. |
