It was raining a few nights ago and there was lightning, too, but i didnt see any. Anyway, I came out to check on my computer because i was transfering this movie onto it from a tape. So i go to see if it finished, but the computer is off!!!! (strangly the monitor which was plugged into the same surge protector, was still on.) I figured the lightning caused some power thingy and blah blah blah... it turned off. When i tried to turn it back on none of the lights or anything came on! I unplugged it and plugged it back in and made sure it was plugged in all the way. It still didnt work, so i unplugged it (i dont know why i did this) from the surge protector it was plugged into and left it like that overnight. The next night, after i told my mom what happened, she tried to turn it on, and it worked!!!
Any ideas what happened? |

It might've just taken a little while for the breaker in the surge protector to reset itself.
