Very Nice! Reminds me a little of the Japanese Bullet Trains. I'd be a little afraid to ride on one of those personally, if it's going at such a high speed it'd seem that it would have a high chance of derailing.

theres no rails period, its all magnets

unless somehow it losses power, theres no way to get the train off the "rail"

wouldnt it just take some electrical disturbance from outside of the train to mess around with the magnetic field?... like some guy on a cell phone.

shame about it not having rails, this baby + a squirell on the tracks = nuclear .

only to the squirell maybe, but i think the squirell is just as dead with any other train

trust me, a one kilogram squirell is not not enough to throw the train off the tracks. this train is held on with magnetic field able to hold thousands of tons and accelerate said mass as fast as a one ton sports car. it would take an enourmous amount of energy to throw this thing off, more then with a regular train [of same mass]

dont forget these trains have massive amounts of inertia in addition to the energy from the magnetic field.

no a cell phone will not mess with the magnetic field. tell me; when u talk on a cell phone, do metal objects fly in your direction? also im sure they took into account anything a person could do on a train when they designed it

no but would be cool kind of like a game of dodge ball but instead with metal objets just stay claer of the knifes and nails.

any way maybe the cell phone could mess with the computers instead i doubt it but.

sweet sg1 is on

ok obviously the video was recorded somehow, if the magnetic field was so strong the camera would have been sucked to the floor or what not
