Killzone 2: The PS3 movie Options

It's been the talk of E3. And here it is. Killzone 2 on PlayStation 3

It's the footage that everyone's been talking about - and now you get to see Killzone 2 on PS3 for yourself.

While the original Killzone on PS2 failed to live up to its initial hype as being a supposed Halo-beater( Renzo Says: killzone is great u nub ), everyone's already cast aside any doubts about its next-gen follow-up after seeing the clip below.

ok firstly read from more reliable sources,and on au.playstation there was a discussion on it and more ppl think its real time.

its just to early to know what the games are gonna look like,sony has 10 months to finish off the launch tittles

plus that headline says " Possibly Pre-rendered "

Firstly, I said " I saw an article that this whole video may be prerendered, just a CG movie. Knowing that, it doesn't really impress me at all." Note the emphasis on 'may'.
Secondly 1up.com is a very reliable source.
Thirdly you have given a website to playstation site, so the chances of that being unbiased are slim.

The only real way to tell is to play the game.

Lol au.playstation has nintendo and xbox followers because its the most active aus gaming forum so everyone goes there. you hardly ever see " biased opinions "

And Phil Harrison said himself its real time,why would sony lie about it,when they know its gonna hurt them in the long run if they made it up, pretty pointless showing a CG movie if their there to show off what the hardware can do, if it is a CG movie then the game is in its early stage ( unlikely since it was announced a while back ) and EA showed some games in real time that looked better,because they were already reaching potential.

Sony would lie to get a larger fanbase, so people think "Wow, that's fricking awesome, I'm definately getting that." They also did something similar with the unveiling of the PS2, releasing great videos only to say that they weren't in-game.

Yeah, so I don't think either of us are going to change the others mind, so lets leave it as is.

Hah, not that Renzo here is a loyal Sony sheep or anything....

I Have also seen the Unreal 3 video which IS in realtime, as they demonstrated it by moving around the scene in real time, which also looks incredible.

I have not yet seen any proof that the Killzone 2 movie is real time, and knowing how sony like to pre-render marketing images (GT4 adverts anyone?) I will be reserving judgement for when I see it demoed real time(and not doing as renzo claims 'everybody' is by NOT casting aside any doubts).

Did I mention the Unreal 3 movie was awesome?

Let's hope Sony pull it off.
