A new version has been released. Click here

This is the third public release. If any bugs or problems are found, please post in the Zenith forum here. If they are about a security vulnerability, please PM me.

The next milestone release will be v0.7. Work on support for Windows servers has already started and will hopefully be completed by the next release.

4. Easy skinning.
5. Easy management of languages.
6. The option to create moderator or admin accounts.
7. New categories can be added.
8. Blacklist containing IPs of troublesome users.
9. Admin CP allows you to define thumbnail and full-size image sizes, the ability to create thumbnails and other formatting options.
10. A notice appears in the nav bar to admins when there are pictures awaiting approval.
11. All public form fields are escaped.
12. Search result and display page addresses are linkable.
13. Gallery can be turned on/off.
14. Adding pictures can be disabled for guests.

No it's not buggy, you've not set up your php.ini file correctly!

If you want to know how to solve that problem, post in the Zenith forum.

Hi original.gif

Is there a way to set the Script to not require approving comments via admin? Like so comments are added right away, no approval from admin needed.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Yes that's possible. There's a post about it in the Zenith forum.

Hi mlsbv,

All unicode encoding schemes should work without any problems, though I can see how some characters might be problematic. The file you'll want to edit is english.php

Let me know if you come across any problems.

I've made a start on working around the storage/retrieval of utf-8 character sets. I'll try and finish it off tonight. Unfortuantely, time is a bit tight at the moment, so if it does drag on I'll have to write it down as a pending issue and work on it in about two weeks time.

Do you know what version of MySQL you're running?

Hi All,

Is there a way to rebuild the thumbnails? It would be quite useful if for some reason the thumnail size is changed and you want to make all thumbnails the same size. Is there some kind of command I can run in the SQL?

Richard.

Followed up via PM. A very sensible feature to have; it will be in the next release.
