 THE MIGHTY FRITZ X3D chess computer which has been engaged in chess with the mighty Gary Kasparov is just as human as humans, it appears. At the end of game four, X3D Fritz sent a highly personal emal to Gary Kasparov but it seems to have forgotten that the microprocessor is "the brains of the computer" (© Chris Long/BBC 2003). Fritz boasts: "With your brainpower you challenged my Intel Quad Processor, Xeon 2.8MHz chip with 4 gigs of RAM. Not an easy task".
